Transitions

Iced coffees to pumpkin spice lattes, cotton to wool, and bright summer shades to simple neutrals are some of my favorite seasonal changes to fall. According to Pantone’s Fall 2015 Fashion Color Report, earthy neutrals reflect a landscape of hope, fun, fantasy and all things natural. I love “Dried Herb” Pantone 17-0627.

When you live in the South, we still have the heat and humidity into the fall. Therefore, transitional clothing and layering is the key to any outfit being comfortable!

I put together a couple of fall wardrobe transitions from the "closet." Why the "closet"?  We all have a plethora of amazing pieces we can build on.  And this is coming from someone who LOVES shopping.  However, Cash is not essential to style and amazing outfits according to Garance Dore’ in the book, “Love Style Life”.

My favorite vest in “Dried Herb” works perfectly through fall. So I used it as the base for a couple of outfits. The first is a casual look, including a couple of options and then a transition to office/business casual or a casual evening out.
