White Christmas Wishes

 

Hi Friends,

Happy Monday!  Hope the weekend was great!  We traveled to Texas to see our daughter’s family (including our sweet grand babies) so of course, ours was wonderful.  We celebrated a birthday, a baptism and an early Christmas. So much fun and special times!!

Interesting enough as we left Texas Sunday, it was colder than home in the Carolina’s!  Which got me wishing and dreaming of a white Christmas.  However, since it is supposed to warm up in the 50’s tomorrow I know I have to wish harder… hence our local wishing well. 

On a fashion note, Mr. Silver gave me this awesome sweater a few years ago for Christmas and it continues to be a wardrobe go-to for those days when I don’t need a coat but it is brisk enough to need a very warm sweater.  This sweater coat can be worn with everything!  Dresses, skirts, jeans…even a long maxi dress!  Check out the gallery or this link to Soft Surroundings.  It is available in 4 different colors.  When an item is in a catalog for 4-5 years…it is truly a classic.  I would seriously recommend this addition to any wardrobe. 

The Missoni scarf I am wearing is a fun chevron pattern and is very light but still warm.  Italian designs never go out of style!!
