4 Fabulous Spring Outfit Ideas

IMG_0040.jpg

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend.  We had a blast with our son, daughter-in-law and two sweet grands.  Both my son and my daughter are not fond of social media so you won't see much of my grands except for maybe legs, backs of heads, etc.... which I completely respect.

The weather at the beach was still a bit rainy on Friday and chilly on Saturday.   So we did not get a lot of time in the sand and sun but we did get to do a little shopping during naps at the local TJ Maxx.  And let me tell you, this TJ's has fab finds... any time of the year.

So I thought, I would share 4 spring outfits built from this quick shopping trip.  The best part is that every piece is under $40.  Unfortunately, there is no way to link to the clothes as they typically stock different items online than in the stores and even so (as you well know) if you don't by it when you see it at TJ's or Marshall's, there is no going back, cause it's gone.

The first outfit is a casual sweatshirt with pouffy cotton sleeves perfect for spring weather.  I am wearing my favorite converse tennis shoes and a pair of Articles of Society frayed jeans, which I linked in my Pearls post here.

Second is a pretty rose-colored tee/top with gold thread around the top.  I am wearing jeans from the closet and gold espadrilles bought last year at TJ's.

My third look is a blue and white striped bell sleeve shirt, on sale for under $20, Free People jeans from the closet and my favorite JSlide blue suede shoes.

Last but not least is my favorite of the bunch, tencel joggers in a color I love but find difficult to describe.  The tag says "toast" but it is closer to a "buttered rum with a twist of orange."  These cool joggers can be dressed up or down.   I added black strappy sandals and a black bell sleeve shirt from the closet.  The fun, clear bucket bag was also under $20 and a fun accessory for the spring.

The moral of this post is don't shy away from the discount stores, when shopping for your seasonal wardrobe.  For just over $100, I found four spring looks that I will wear through summer/fall.

As always, thanks for stopping by the blog.  My goal is to share authentic ageless style; fashion, beauty and relevant lifestyle information as we share this journey together!  Have a great week!!

XOXO
