A Velvet Skirt For Fall

Happy Hump Day! My weekend was fun and hoped yours was! This week is flying by and is off to a great start. We had a catch-up weekend and I spent Sunday (which was rainy) relaxing and reading a book. I needed that! We all need that sometimes, right?

I recently saw this velvet skirt at J. Crew and knew it would be part of a look that I would share with you. Of course, since it is J. Crew it makes for a classic look but I dressed it down a bit since I added some platform kicks. I would wear this just about everywhere. I added a graphic tee from Target; POSITIVITY, my favorite denim jacket, fun earrings by Primaura and my new favorite animal print sneakers are from Zara. Mr. Silver and are headed to Tennessee to visit his folks and brother. We are taking them to Dollywood to get them out a bit as they are in assisted living. It should be fun as they have International Pumpkin Carvers visiting from all over the world. I am hoping to carve up a really great pumpkin with my newly learned skills.
