Leopard Jacket for Fall
Animal print is still trending again for the fall. Yay! Because I love it all, especially leopard print. Although, snake print is running a close second. Did you know that animal print goes back to the 18th century? Giving those that wore it a sense of power and elevated status and sense of wealth... I bet Fred Flintstone and Wilma wore it for those same reasons. Seriously though the trend continues and below are some ideas to spice it up and make it look fresh:
Layering with different animal prints and other bold patterns
Wearing it head to toe
Look for different colored animal prints that are non-traditional
Even though my two looks are a bit more traditional, I plan to wear this fun jacket over a bright, pink, red and green and with some floral prints too. Stay tuned for more to come.
Hope your week has been full of fun and love. We have been staying with our Carolina grandchildren, while their parents are abroad and have had the best time. It is so gratifying to see them so happy and therefore, although we are a wee bit tired, we look forward to the next time.
