Florals for Date Night

To be absolutely clear, Mr. Silver and I are not going “out” on dates these days. We are still trying to social distance. So what use to be date night is now getting dressed up for our “order in or take out night.” Yes, sounds a bit boring but it is safe, (which we strive to do) and we always make fun.

So even though we are home most of the time or at our beach cottage, I still like to dress up for dinner. (And actually most days, I still dress up for work.)

Recently, we had dinner on our front porch. Music, wine, ferns, a candle (and our Thermocell to ward off mosquitoes) and I wore this cute dress and heels. It was fun and it felt good to celebrate the evening.

Amongst my Kimberly Queen Ferns which I swear are the biggest ones yet!

I do look forward to date night again, outside our home but for now, we are taking it in stride and making the very best of every day together.
